Kevin Culhane
General Manager
Kevin has enjoyed a leadership career in Sales, Business and Financial Management, IT Service and Operations Management, and as Executive Director. These roles spanned twenty years with BMO and three years with FSESO in Orillia. Growing up in Northern Ontario, he studied Mathematics and Economics at Laurentian University, where he also earned an MBA degree.
Kevin has over two decades of Not-For-Profit experience including President of Deerhurst Summit Lodge 51, Executive Director of FSESO, and as Minor Hockey Head Coach and Director of Coaching and Player Development.

Kim Masin
Business Advisor
Kim Masin is a communications strategist, and operations leader with more than 15 years of experience supporting entrepreneurs, startups, nonprofits, and innovation-driven organizations across North Simcoe and beyond. Before that, she founded a restaurant in Midland where her passion for entrepreneurship began and her love for local business.
With a strong background in business, marketing, event management, stakeholder relations, and community engagement, she is known for building meaningful connections and creating collaborative environments that support growth and innovation, such as the Midland Cultural Centre, which is a fundamental cultural hub in Midland.
Kim has managed hub operations, client, volunteer and member engagement, digital systems, and community partnerships. Her career includes senior management and consulting roles in marketing, cultural tourism, publishing, hospitality, and food innovation, where she successfully led strategic initiatives, built international brands, secured partnerships and grants, and delivered award-winning events.
Kim can help you with a practical entrepreneurial approach to your business, combining her operational expertise, budgeting, communication and marketing skills with relationship-building. After many years in hospitality and customer service, Kim enjoys having a sit-down to simply talk about what your needs are and how her many years of diverse experience can help your business succeed. It’s all about collaboration and relationship building.

Janet Metcalf
Office Administrator
Janet was raised in rural Adjala-Tosorontio then moved to Midland in 1988, where she and her partner Brian enjoy boating on Georgian Bay.
With a life-long aptitude for technology and mathematics, Janet studied Electronics Engineering Technology at DeVry in Toronto. Her career as a technician began at Rogers Cable in Toronto, then, after moving to Midland, as an Installer at Huronia Alarms.
Janet later transitioned into the role of Office Assistant at Huronia Alarms then to Office Manager at MTN Communication Systems, where her technical background meshed well with her talents for customer service and bookkeeping. Returning to Huronia Alarms in 2015, Janet was promoted to Accounting Supervisor and Billing Coordinator.
Janet looks forward to helping people realize their business aspirations as the Office Administrator at NSCFDC.
